Post Email/Case Survey Expiration

Hi Guys,

Hope you can help on how to get this done within BP, we implemented post case survey for our client, however they have two requirements we need assistance with

  • Email survey expire, if survey link sent to client after resolution and client only participates/rate survey 2x week, instead of getting to the survey pate to rate they should get to the page that survey has expired.

  • Currently, if you rate survey result in BP, and you later go back on same link and re-rate, the old results are overwritten with the new ones, we want to prevent this , if the case survey rating already done and client initiates the link, instead of getting survey page they must get to a page informing them survey results already received, and thank them for their participation.

Any ideas on how we can accomplish this in BP?

Thanks in Advance, Meli

Did you ever find a solution for this? If you are still looking, I might be able to help if you can add a little more detail on what you have implemented.

Good Day Derek, thanks for reaching out.

BP confirmed this to be a bug, no post email survey results are recorded and stored in the reporting DB’s survey table, this information however exists on the config DB’s survey table, as workaround for now we backing up the Config DB survey table and creating our reports from this.

On the survey expire no workaround, it was logged as feature request, if a client receives the survey link, they can access and rate service, when they come back open the same link and rerate the service, this overwrites the last ratings in the ConfigDB, that means if client previously rated a service and report generated by business, when they run reports again for the same periods the results might differ, so request was to expire the survey link after a set period so if client wants to use it its no longer valid
