Caller ID Changing When Transferring

How can we transfer a caller out of our system while still retaining the caller ID on the service and keeping the original caller ID of the caller.

Check out your Dial out Entry plan. There is an option that you can check that says Use customer number on transfers.


Correct me on this but this option only work when you have ‘Refer enabled’ on your trunk’ at least that’s what I have understood from our testing deployments.
