Right now, when someone opens a scenario or workflow (even just to view it) and then clicks Cancel or Close, Bright Pattern still marks it as “open” and shows a warning to the next person.
This is confusing — especially when no changes were made. It makes it hard to tell if someone is actively editing or if it’s just a stale lock.
Suggestion:
- Automatically clear the lock if the user cancels or closes without editing.
- OR, expire the lock after a timeout period (e.g., 15–30 minutes).
- OR, offer a “release lock” button.
Small change, big usability gain. Would love to see this added.
