Pull data from external sources into Chat

Hello Support team,

We are in talks with a client who would like to implement the BP chat widget feature on their website, and wanted to inquire about means to pull up data that has been acquired from the customers before being taken to a chat feature (model / manufacturer, etc) Is it possible to pull existing data using a POST/GET, or something similar before chat with an agent is initiated?

It cannot be done in the widget itself but every chat that is initiated must go through a scenario and then could be queried with the fetchURL block.
