Enabling WhatsApp Marketing, Broadcast & Outbound Messaging with Bright Pattern

Sharing a use case we recently implemented around WhatsApp Marketing, Broadcast (Bulk Messaging), and Outbound Messaging while working with Bright Pattern Contact Center Platform.

As part of expanding WhatsApp engagement, we had a requirement to support outbound use cases such as campaigns, notifications, and proactive messaging, alongside the strong inbound and scenario handling already managed within Bright Pattern.

Approach

We integrated Bright Pattern with Engage360 to complement outbound messaging capabilities, while continuing to use Bright Pattern for inbound interactions.

How it works

  • WhatsApp account is configured in both systems

  • On the Meta side, the webhook is pointed to Engage360

  • Engage360 receives incoming messages and forwards them to Bright Pattern’s webhook

  • Bright Pattern continues to handle:

    • Inbound conversations

    • Scenarios and routing

    • Agent interactions

  • Engage360 is used for:

    • WhatsApp campaigns

    • Broadcast messages

    • Notifications
