What is difference between auto and completed from campaign monitoring view?

Unsure what is difference between auto and completed.

I am using progressive campaign. For some calling list, I get completed result while other calling list gives auto result.

The auto is the label that designates number records completed indirectly (or automatically). I.e. the ones completed not by applying a final disposition selected by an agent but by the dialer itself. The dialer closes records automatically when, for example, number of attempts the record exceeds the limit or when no more phones is available to call.
