We actually have a nice tutorial out on our help site about getting started with Bots

This covers both a Watson bot and an Amazon Lex bot

Both IBM (Watson) and Amazon do offer free tiers to allow you to experiment with the bots as you’re looking to see how they would fit into your environment. You can sign up for these accounts on their websites if you’d like to trial them.
